1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using CineCircle, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2. What CineCircle Is
CineCircle is a community app for discovering movie showtimes at South African cinemas and organising watch-party groups with other users. Showtimes are gathered from cinema websites and, where relevant, entered manually by our team — we do our best to keep them accurate, but always confirm details with the cinema before you travel.
3. Your Account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable Use
When using groups, chat, and the discussion board, you agree not to: harass or abuse other users; post spam, illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights; impersonate another person; or attempt to disrupt or abuse the platform. Spoilers should be marked as such using the app's spoiler tag.
5. Content You Post
You keep ownership of anything you post (group descriptions, discussion posts, chat messages), but you grant CineCircle the right to display that content to other users as part of the normal operation of the app. You're responsible for what you post.
6. Moderation
We may review, remove content, or suspend/ban accounts that violate these terms or otherwise harm the community, at our discretion.
7. Disclaimers
CineCircle is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that showtimes, venues, or formats listed in the app are error-free or currently accurate — always double-check with the cinema. We aren't responsible for what happens at in-person meetups organised through the app; use good judgment and meet in public places.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CineCircle isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
9. Termination
You may stop using CineCircle at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
